A woman decides that she wants to delay having a child to a more convenient time in her life and decides to harvest, some of her eggs, fertilize them via a donor for when she is ready for motherhood. While checking the frozen embryo for viability, a scientist notices something unusual.
The Helix Dilemma explores what happens following this discovery, and the ethical quandaries faced by all.

For their first collaboration, Ray, Wally, Andy and Pete made the short film Thunderclap (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt18309266), which premiered at the Boston International film Festival. Shot on location at a cabin in South Caroline, during its festival run the short received a nomination for Best Actress for its star, Rachel Pestiavas. Wally Marzano-Lesnevich co-wrote, with actor/comedian Paul Reiser, the feature "The Problem With People", which premiered at the Austin Film Festival and now streams on Prime. His debut feature, "Almost Paris", also available on Prime, premiered at Tribeca and won the Audience Choice Award at the Beaufort international Film Festival and the Best Screenplay Award at the Golden Door International Film Festival, amongst others.
He has made numerous shorts, including Thunderclap, which played numerous festivals, including the Boston International Film Festival, with Raymond Smith and Andrew Smith.
Raymond D. Smith co-wrote with Wally the film Thunderclap, which Ray also produced and acted. It was screened at many film festivals across the USA.
He also Produced and Directed both "Voices from Vietnam: Reflections at the Wall," which was aired on PBS and SCETV and was screened on public TV across Canada.
He worked with Andrew Smith on "Breakfast in Beaufort: Journeys through Time" as Producer and Director. It is still screening at film festivals across the USA and recently won Best Documentary at the Cobb International Film Festival and was recently screened on SCETV
Andrew Smith is a professional videographer with a large insurance company during the day, but at other times he has been the Cinematographer and Editor for Voices from Vietnam; Reflecting at the Wall, Thunderclap and Breakfast in Beaufort; Journeys Through Time for which he received much acclaim from viewers and film festival organizers., as well as other films produced by Modos Media
Pete trained as a jazz and classical guitarist who spent much of his musical career playing, teaching and composing. He has recently taken his wide musical tastes and skills to the world of film composing and scoring. His scores have been heard in the films Thunderclap and Breakfast in Beaufort; Journeys Through Time and soon in The Helix Dilemma, currently in
pre-production.
